Process Steps

Step1

The declarant submits all necessary documents to Customs of Mongolia

Step2

The Customs reviews all documents. If necessary, customs ask more related documents

Step3

Customs inspector stamps "Under customs control" on declaration of goods

Step4

Levy taxes and duties and ask for paying it to temporary account or providing guarantee for payment of taxes and duties

Step5

Declarant transfer taxes and duties to temporary account or provide guarantee

Step6

Customs make regular control on goods until sending back and provides registration

Step7

When expiry date of the procedure is finished, declarant may request for extension. Customs General Administration shall be responsible on its decision

Step8

If date is extended, declarant shall submit new declaration along with old declaration

Step9

When expiry date of the procedure is finished, declarant send back goods to abroad

Step10

If goods are not sent back to abroad at the date of temporary admission, goods will transfer to another customs clearance procedure and declarant shall submit its declaration

Step11

Customs withdraw taxes from temporary bank account and pay back difference of taxes to declarant

 

NOTE:

1. Goods reflected in Article 94 of the Law on Customs shall be declared according to this customs clearance procedure.

2. In order to declare goods under this clearance procedure, customs clearance codes should be used reflected in this procedure.

3. Customs will provide regular control and registration. Once date of temporary admission is finished, goods shall transfer to the customs clearance of goods for domestic consumption and customs levy taxes according to this procedure.
