Documents required for registration of foreign standards:

In case of export of products and services to foreign countries:

Business entities and organizations are not obliged to develop and approve draft national standards

Undertake to register any changes to the original standard during the period of application

Issuance of registration notice on the application of foreign standards:

The unit in charge of standardization is responsible for obtaining a complete statement on the application of foreign standards to organizations and business entities and registering them in the unified standard database.
The person in charge of standardization will receive the materials and resolve the issue of registration of yr standard within 10 working days if the following requirements are met.
Is the standard valid?
Whether the standard is approved as a national standard
Whether the business entity wishing to apply the standard has contractual protection of its international obligations.
If the standardization unit does not meet the requirements of the document, it will provide a formal written response
Depending on the steps and labor required to approve the standard as a national standard, a registration notice of the application of a foreign standard shall be issued for a period of up to 18 months.
The registration of the application for registration of the application of foreign standards shall be carried out in accordance with Annex
The registration notification on the application of foreign standards shall be certified by the head of the Standardization and Metrology Agency

NOTE:

•The purpose of the foreign standards registration procedure is to support the activities of businesses, increase their competitiveness, and

implement Article 12.3 of the Law on Accreditation of Standardization, Technical Regulation, and Conformity Assessment.

The unit in charge of standardization shall receive the materials specified in 2.1 of this regulation and resolve the issue of registration of the standard within 10 working days if it meets the following requirements.

Procedures for registration and application of foreign standards shall be equal and open to the public.

Business entities and organizations are obliged to develop and approve draft national standards within the period specified in the registration notice on the use of foreign standards.
No re-registration permit will be issued if the standard is approved for single use.
